EXPERIENCE and EFFICIENCY

Successfully in use by many professional broadcasters. Proven in practice to store hundreds of thousands of archived video items which take hundreds of terabytes. inStudio processes complex queries returning results within seconds. A low definition preview allows users to browse material without downloading the high quality source files.

MODULARITY

The use of different modules for different processes e.g. archiving, searching or data export enables our digital asset manager to be easily adjusted to the needs of new customers and to the changing requirements of existing inStudio users.

FULL SCALABILITY

inStudio’s multilayer architecture ensures an even distribution of load, high efficiency and exceptional availability. The application server, database server and customer applications can be set up on separate hardware.

EASY ADMINISTRATION and MAINTENANCE

The administration module enables the maintenance and full control over video asset management. Various kinds of reports which are available to users or groups allow monitoring the archiving process and how the archived content is used. inStudio’s powerful access rights management covers both access to the resources and which functionalities are available to users.

SAFETY and SECURITY

inStudio supports automatic redundant backups in independent network locations. This enhances data safety and enables quick restoration of the operations after possible hardware failures. User privileges ensure that archived video material can only be accessed and used with appropriate credentials.

FLEXIBILITY

inStudio supports a wide range of video formats, such as DV, MXF, AVCHD, DNxHD, H.264, MPEG-4 Part 2, Apple ProRes, AVI, WMV and many others. The digital video archive can be easily tuned to fit the individual needs of the customers. It can be modified to meet the customer’s workflows and expanded with new functionalities such as: semantic search engine, operation of tape archives, non-standard types of multimedia files and codecs, etc.
