The inStudio Multimedia Asset Management Solution architecture has been designed to support flexible hardware scalability based on a client’s requirements. When you own a smaller video library, you can use inStudio installed entirely on a single server. When a higher efficiency is required, you can benefit from inStudio multilayer architecture, allowing distribution of work over several servers.
inStudio Main Server runs a web application containg all the system’s user interface, a middleware application for asset data processing and media servers management, as well as a relational database of the archive. The Main Server communicates with one or many Media Servers, that have access to the archive disk arrays and are responsible for video transcoding and archived materials export. Using several Media Servers, inStudio can raise its efficiency eg. in concurrent media transcoding.
The entire inStudio user interface is a web application. The system uses modern yet proven technologies.
